Featuring Lucy Simone’s girlfriends, ‘Dress-Up Dolls’ explores the wonderful world of dressing up, and the intimacy between a girl and her favourite items of clothing. Inspired by the online virtual-world games Lucy and many of her friends played growing up, ‘Dress-Up Dolls’ explores the concept that using clothing to express your identity is another form of avatar customisation.

This is The Wardrobe Collective’s first printed volume and showcases interviews between Lucy and her friends. The girls tell stories about their most treasured items of clothing and the ways in which clothing has shaped who they are today
